Whats the best speed trap detector, and does it detect the cops that follow behind with dash-mounted cameras?

March 11th, 2010 | by admin |

The device I’m looking for would ideally cover lazer and infra red and use satellite technology aswell

I come from America, and these things are widly advertised due to our strict traffic laws. I’d google it, for something on this topic, because you can probally find a website that sells these direct. This way you’d be able to compare prices, and veiw details on the radar detecters. From what I under stand the devices scan a certain radius, not for police cars, but something spacific to the police cars. If it’s a CB radio, you might find yourself picking up Lories, and others cars sporting these radios. I’d just do some self research, because you may find what works for one person, may not be in the budget for you.

You can’t avoid the dash cams, these work by the traffic officer keeping up with your speed and the speed of the officers vehicle is displayed on their recording.

They do not measure your speed, only theirs therefore there is no laser or anything for a detector to detect.

Try the Micro Roadpilot, it will detect GATSO cameras, and mobile radar traps

    http://www.roadpilot.com

It uses a GPS system and notifies you when updates are available.
