I'd google it, for something on this topic, because you can probally find a website that sells these direct. This way you'd be able to compare prices, and veiw details on the radar detecters. From what I under stand the devices scan a certain radius, not for police cars, but something spacific to the police cars. If it's a CB radio, you might find yourself picking up Lories, and others cars sporting these radios.
