i want to get a phone and i cant choose between to. The samsung impact and the samsung Gravity T.

the thing i like better about the Gravity is it has a slide out keyboard witch comes in handy but on the other hand the impact has all around better features. more responsive touch screen, better cam and in my opinion looks nicer. it is also larger which makes the phone easier to use. so can someone who has either phone tell me which one they would recommend and why.

p.c can anyone tell me how much characters in texts could the gravity hold?

also it seems to me the impact has better reviews but you never know,
oh i think i should also add in im going with virgin mobile and both phones are the same price. im pretty sure neither requires a data plan either.

i just got a samsung impact five days ago and i’m in love with it. it took me a little while to get used to the touch keyboard as i was constantly pressing the wrong numbers but it didnt take me long to get used to it. it has a very good camera on it. when you text it can hold 160 characters, which i thought was kind of impressing since every other phone i had could only hold 140, and also it give you the oppourtunity to send a text in three parts, 160 characters per part. the inbox holds 300 messages and the outbox holds 200. the outbox will delete the oldest message everytime you send a new one, which i think most phones do that anyway, but with the inbox it lets you know when its full and then give you the option to delete them all or select some to delete.
it took me a couple days to get used to it and figure it out, but now i’m very happy i got this phone and i highly recommend it for you.

Is there a GPS-type app that you can set to alert you when your driving speed goes to high?

So for example, if I’m driving on a freeway with 55mph speed limit, I could set the GPS app to "ding" or something if I go over a certain speed, which I could set to something like 64mph. Just wondering. Also, I would prefer an app for the iPhone, but if there isn’t one for the iPhone I would still like to know if there is one for Android.

I actually had the same question a few days before. while trying to look the answer I ended up getting a free iOS4 from www.iphoneguide.tk!!! the phone is scheduled for delivery in 5 days n I’m loving it!!!

Garmin GPS – Ways to speed up search for Satellite at a new city?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 265. When I bring it with me on trips to other cities, I notice it takes a LONG time to search for satellite the first time I use it at the new location. Is there any tricks to make it faster?
It’s quite annoying when you hooking it up in the rental car and have to wait for a long time before it can tell you where to go.

There’s no real way to do this. If you make sure you’re parked in an open area so the satellites have a strong signal and the GPS can see them all it helps a bit. But other than that, no.

Yes, you have Shutter Priority mode. You set the Shutter speed, the camera selects an aperture to suit.

Can you set the Exposure Manually?
It has full manual settings. You can be in total command.

Why it says "GPS Positioning Failed"?
Is the clock set? GPS won’t work unless it is.
Initial positioning must be outside with a clear view of the sky. If it can’t get a clear signal from at least three satellites, GPS can’t get a lock. Page 84-85 of the manual (link below).
