best navigation system for my requirements?
March 29th, 2010 | by admin |hi there, hoping someone can help me. i am from australia so our maps would be different but the brands should be the same. i dont care about speed cameras, coz i dont speed. i dont care about traffic, coz sh*t happens. all i care about it getting a gps system that can direct me to where i need to get to. i dont need anything fancy i just need something simple and which gets me from a to b. my biggest requirement is getting a good product for what i pay for and obviously the cheaper the better. can anyone suggest a system that suits my requirements and is a well known brand for being a "good" gps system??? thanks
I’m in the United States and just got a Garmin Nuvi 200, which I love. I know they’re made (other models, I’m sure) for overseas use. Here’s a site I found that shows one….many different models:

I have heard that TomTom Customer service is non-existant and they don’t respond to emails or phone calls.. I think only snail-mail.. or they take months to respond. Plus I have heard that updating the maps is a pain or they don’t have new maps.
I have the Garmin 660 I think it’s amazing.. I bought it from amazon I couldn’t believe they had it like $400 off and I got it for the same price as the lower low models ..
GARMIN 660
