if they have to use any programs to clear up the image, the case will be thrown out. it has to be clear. if one number looks blurred, you can win the case.

It doesn’t work. All the authority does is reverse the negative on the photograph and the numbers on the plate show up no problem (like when you edit photos in photoshop or on your camera phone and selct ‘negative’ as picture setting).

This product has been proven not to work AT ALL. I have never used it. It fails all of the tests that I have seen it been applied to. Don’t waste your money on this. You are better of buying a very nice radar/laser detector/ jammer, and or a device that hides your plates at the push of a button. AND PEOPLE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY ROCKY MOUNTAIN RADAR, they are Huge Scam Artists, and their product is worse than the cheapest detectors.

6 months in jail or a $1000 dollar fine? 2 problems with that. One, california jails & prisons are already overcrowded. Paris Hilton gets less than 1 day for DWI and it’s highly publicized but spraying your plate gets u 6 months? We’ll burn this down before we let the gov do that. Second, how can they prove you were in fact the one who sprayed the plate if it’s clear? Could you not argue in court you never sprayed it or knew it was sprayed since it’s invisible? Anyone know legality here?

These sprays often don’t work. They were banned in Australia about 15 years ago – looks like the products are improving.
We do not have a “right to privacy” here, as stated in the Bill of Rights so conveniently ignored by the legislators in this case.
Some people use hairspray to reflect the flash.
