still u can be out of the area come into a place want to look around and see where u r and u dont know the speed limit u can be passing a camera trap at 40 and the limit is 30 it would suck to get a ticket

Wow. You sir are a dick. Or a cop. Which more than likely would make you a dick. It doesn’t allow you to speed. It allows you to know where you are being clocked. Illegal? No more than using your eyes to look for cops & speedtraps which I’m sure you do.Most tix are not high speed. They are 10-15 mph in areas where the majority are able to speed because it’s safe.Thus the “trap” in speed trap. COOL! I have this product and it has saved my a few times. It has warned me of impending speed traps on several occasion giving me enough time to slow down and let another sucker get busted by the speed traps. Better him than me. I will be damned if I will ever let myself get busted by a speed or red light camera. I paid $219 for it and it has paid for itself.
