i have the s2000 …
LOL I think peeps are a little OTT with these types of comment, i have had nothing but pleasurable driving out of mine. Stick to the car ones mate, at least then you wont forget the bridge you just took the cab and trailer out with.
i have the s2000 its fine, updated it with the free dvd, if you forget to turn after 700yds like you say, then your concentration is a bit shot mate, and a worry TBH, there is a counter strip like a countdown to the junction, and you forget to look at that too

True, its an aid …
True, its an aid not a replacement, I bought the sat nav in the end and found it very helpful, it didnt warn me late at all, unless your an incredibly slow thinker. And at £150 for the syrius which has been reduced because its being replaced its a great deal.
Thanks for your response.

I own a Strabo …
I own a Strabo myself. I don’t remember it ever telling me to turn very late. Also, you should get another instruction to turn around two hundred yards back. However, the thing to remember about sat navs is that they are driving aids – they do not drive the car for you. If you are concentrating properly, you shouldn’t make a wrong turn.

Hi, I had a comment …
Hi, I had a comment which put me off buying the s2000 snooper… the person said it informs you when to turn very late… so you can occasionaly forget that it told you to turn 700 yards back.
Is this true?

I like the GPS Sapphire plus. It takes me anywhere and fits in my pocket. Quite handy with gatsos, saved me loads of times. Don’t drive too fast guys…
