I want to buy a cheap- ish sat nav (under £120)?
February 17th, 2010 | by admin |I am a new driver so want a system that has audio directions and that I can also select to avoid motorways. Speed camera detection is a bonus but not essential.
Thanks
I would have a look on eBay for a PDA, gps antenna and some tomtom software, you can download all the speed cameras and POI’s free from the internet.
Mines been great, it has taken me across Europe avoiding the toll roads many times , and you can down load the speed cameras for each country. and use it as a PDA as well…

My mate got one for £100 from Kwik-Fit, called a Mia. He’s quite happy with it, & it has camera sites & MP3 player on it too!

Hi, if you wanna buy a sat-nav go for TomTom, even a second hand is better than these new makes, I’ve been outbid on a TomTom 300 just over £86 which was in good condition, so yes go for it instead of those new makes.
