Urgent! I need a digital point and shoot camera. Recommendations needed?
August 17th, 2010 | by admin |I need a digital point and shoot camera, which also has manual controls. I don’t want to buy a DSLR, I also need anyone from my family to use it. Doesn’t need to fit in my pocket, no problem if not slim. Should be easy to handle.
At least 10 MegaPixels, image quality should be good. Good movie quality, maybe up to 1280×720.
Good shooting modes and good continuous shot(burst) speed. Doesn’t need to be very stylish, i care more about the photos and movies than the camera’s appearance itself…
Good if it has center-weighted, plus evaluative and servo AF. Face detection too.
And also, choose from the following brands:
Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Olympus, Nikon,.
I want the most affordable ones…
I want it under 20000-25000 pakistani rupees. Preferably should cost about 18000 Pakistani rupees.
In dollars, that would be about 225 USD or so.
The Canon S20 IS sounds like it would meet your needs, but maybe a little more than you want to pay. Video below.
