Well to be honest it’s always someones mate who has heard the absolutely guaranteed information. But anyhow, even if they do come out in June, all radar detectors are also laser detectors. The reason they don’t work too well against laser at the moment is because it is ‘instant on’ and targeted by an officer. In the case of the speed camera, it will need to be constantly on. Laser signals do bounce and refract, so there is a good chance a radar detector will still be useful against them.

no man my friend is a cop and he says they put a tender in long time ago..and also they allready got 50 new onse ..ment to be operating from june this years…and they got the new onse that get your number plate from behind for bikes too…also the new moltinovers take digital pics and are german made which use laser to detect ,and can get you if you driving in either side of the road..and belive me this things are coming on side of your road from june this year so good luck dude..

If you have been following radar detectors in the news for the past so many years, you’d know that there is always a new speed camera coming out, or they’re about to ban detectors, or something else sensational is going to happen… but nothing has really changed since the Multanova was introduced all those years ago. I’m not saying this new one won’t be brought in, just that I’ve heard similar things too many times and so I’ll only believe it when I can see it on the side of the road.

i have a rx65 and i upgrade the software and they fuckked it has shorter range now…iam gone get the valentine 1 soon they recon thats the best…but does anyone know why the radars in australia have shorter range to radars picking up ka and k band in other countrys? seem they have much longer range..i mean this is fuckk all range you getting from a moltinover..from july australia is buying laser moltinovas used in a army it can catch you from both side of freeway with digital photos..

No, a radar detector only detects radar signals, meaning the police car must be using a radar for you to be able to detect it.

Does this detector pick up every cop and sherifs car? Even if there radar is turned off? Say the cop car is just driving around, would it still detect the cop car?
