Help with Radar detector meanings?

and dont know what im looking for?
and dont give me crap about 23GHz – 33GHz
what does what k bound means im in the line of a speed camera or what?
What does each thing mean?
K band
Ka band
Ku band
etc etc?

it would be really helpful because i dont know what they mean all i can find is k band is this frequency lvl and blablahjdfhgdjk =(
Depending on where you live they mean different things.. I would be weary of all K band alarms. Ka is usually the most common radar nowdays. X is usually a false alarm, however in some states they still use X. Basically if your detector goes off for ANYTHING.. Slow down.
