February 21st, 2010 | by admin |

do they find you by radar? cause i saw a " express speed camera locator"
http://www.gbdriver.co.uk/acatalog/Pink_Furry_Dice_and_Tax_Disc_Holder_Kit.html
and i was wondering if it was like my (in the usa) radar detector? and how bad is all of those cameras over there guys?
yeah "st n" i’ve seen them in the city (nyc) but not on the highways. there mostly yellow light cameras, but if they get on the highways ..i’m toast haha, mommas got a lead foot.

they were originally intended to stop speeding, now however they are used solely as a means of local councils to get even more money out of the motorist, whatever we do over here now is subject to a charge or penalty, if you park in a caar park, and your car is to long for the parking bay, you get a fine, 5 mile an hour over the speed limit, you get a fine, cross and stop in a yellow box, you get a fine, forget to make a car sorn, you get a fine, and if yoiu forget to pay your fine, you get a fine,

Haven’t you seen them over here? All over the place in Toronto and spreading like weeds. Also at intersections. Chicago has them wicked thick in the freeway construction zones.

They are speed traps. In the states the police have to pull you over to write you a ticket. In many European countries, you get "flashed" by a camera if you are speeding and they send you a ticket in the mail with a photo of you driving the car. Can’t really fight that.

Speed cameras. They time you over a fixed distance and if you are too fast then they take a picture of your number plate so that you can be fined for speeding.

Yes, we have speed cameras (yellow, always yellow) and also other cameras that just watch the traffic flow (normally blue or grey).

Also, they’ve started fitting average speed cameras (still yellow) which photo you at each end of about 200/300yards and, if you’re speeding, send the photos to the police.

Evil speed cameras are indeed yellow and flash you. They are also known as gatso cameras. I would like visitors to the UK to fill them with expanding foam as they pass – that would be great thank you!

They’re all over the place. 2-3 years ago a WPC was killed in the north of England, within a couple of days they had assembled all the photos of the car concerned traveling from London north and back. Of course they could see the faces of the people in the car too!
