Can anyone recommend a GPS unit for skiing to measure speed and distance?

I think Garmin has a similar unit, but most any GPS unit will give you that information.
what else do you want to use it for? hunting, geocaching, mapping, etc.
How do you want to carry it? arm, shirt/coat pocket.
How long a battery time do you need?
What kind of display do you want?

Navman make one that goes on your arm – available as always on e-bay. They also do one for running and other sports. I have the running one it’s excellent.
